Render Clearing Newcastle, North East

If the outside of your building is looking dull and dirty and you’re thinking of painting the render. STOP! There is a much more cost effective and longer lasting way of bringing it back to life. Render cleaning is just what you need!

Why should I not paint it?

Of course, you can paint your rendering. It will be expensive. Because of health and safety regulations, you will need scaffolding and appropriate equipment. And it might be difficult to find an exact colour to match the rest of the building or to match your neighbours. But it will improve the look almost immediately.

HOWEVER, unless you clean and treat the render first, that immediate improvement is all you will see.

It is only a temporary fix.
Through-coloured render is designed to breathe. By simply painting over the top of it, moisture is trapped underneath the paint. Which causes damp. And any organic dirt will eventually eat through the paintwork.
The paint will start to flake and peel. The moss, algae, and lichens will grow back through the surface. And the only thing you can do is have it all professionally, and expensively, removed. Just to start again.
But there is another option.

Many people get out a jet washer and use it on their render. This is a huge mistake. High pressure washing, even if only with cold water, is too severe for the majority of rendered surfaces.
We only clean render with a chemical SoftWash, and at a low pressure. This not only cleans the render, but also treats and sanitizes the area. Killing off all the mould and mildew spores.

I don't normally leave reviews, as I have OCD, so my expectations are stupidly high, but these guys did an exceptional job. I had my whole roof replaced in January 2024 and the roofers left all their rubbish on my resin, with all the rain etc it was a filthy mess to say the least, and if I'm honest, I didn't think Supreme exterior clean would make it as clean as it was before, but they did. I don't know what they used, but they definitely done an outstanding job, even by my standards, so much so, I'll be using them again next year.
