Exterior cleaning always carries an inherent risk to landscaping and plant life. We can’t guarantee that none of your landscaping will be affected by our cleaning process (you should question any contractor that makes such a guarantee), what we do guarantee is that we’ll take all possible precautions to protect your plant life. What we can guarantee is that if something negative does happen as a result of our cleaning process we will be there to rectify it for you.
In order to mitigate as much risk as possible we use various strategies to protect your landscaping.
These precautions protect your plant life as much as possible, in the unlikely event that you do notice any issues such as wilting or browning of leaves after our service, please call us. We promise to take care of you!
Providing we can gain access to all points of the property and have access to a water supply you can leave us to get on with things. This frees you up to go to work, do the school run or even a bit of shopping, you can then return to a clean environment.
Each job is individual and many factors must be taken into consideration when providing a quote. Pitch of the roof, square meterage, degree of staining, is there moss or lichen present, height of the building, access, as well as other things.
Only an inspection can fully determine the work required and all our quotations are FREE with no pressure from a pushy salesman.
Do you offer partial cleaning on just the bad areas?Yes we do. We understand that certain cleaning needs may apply, such as touching up the visible part of a roof to increase the curb appeal for a house sale, however we would always recommend a full roof clean. The untreated sections will likely already have algae spores not yet visible, these spores will then travel to the treated sections of the roof and expedite contamination and regrowth.
With this in mind we do not offer our 5 year spot free warranty* on partial cleans.

Our SoftWash solution provides a 99.9% kill ratio on bacteria, algae, moss and lichen! this kill ratio includes the roots of the offending algae and inhibits the return of future growth.
We are so confident in our methods that we offer a 5 year spot free limited warranty with each complete roof clean.
A lot of our treatment and cleaning can be done from the gutter line by means of ladders or mobile scaffold towers, our technicians are all IPAF certified as well and if necessary we can use MEWPs (mobile access equipment) to access awkward areas. If we do need to access your roof in order to clean it we will do so via professional roofing ladders.
Specific protection training is given to every technician and implementing protective measures are part of our everyday operating procedures! People and pets remain safe! All of the solutions we use are biodegradable.
We do still ask that pets and family members remain indoors until the job is complete, we understand that people need to come and go and this can be comfortably accomplished with a little coordination. Pets are free to go outside once the job is complete and the work site has been cleaned up.
Yes! A build up of moss and lichen can eventually displace roof tiles slightly allowing costly water ingress. A build up of moss on the roof also causes the tiles to become more porous as they effectively bathe in the rainwater that the moss retains. The now increasingly porous tiles are more likely to break during cold spells as the water freezes and expands within them.
Our spot free warranty for roof cleans lasts for 5 years and can be transferred to a new owner if you sell your home.
